Services & Pricing

Every service begins with a consultation. Haircut prices are set by the stylist; color, treatments and skincare start at the prices shown. By appointment, walk-ins welcome.

What a haircut costs

The price is the stylist’s chair rate, identical at both salons. Master stylists cut from $125; the owner’s chair is the top of the ladder.

Junior Stylist haircuts are $60.

Questions

How much is a men’s haircut at Martial Vivot?

A haircut is priced by your stylist’s tier — $125, $165, $215, $265, $315 or $420 — and the price is the same at both salons. The full ladder, with the stylists in each tier, is above. The price is set by the stylist, not by the length of the cut.

Where are the salons?

Midtown, at 39 W 54th St beside the Museum of Modern Art — the original salon, opened 2008. And the West Village, at 639½ Hudson St, opened 2017 with co-owner Jerome Obry. Both are bookable online.

Do I need an appointment?

Booking online is the surest way to get the stylist and the hour you want — the tiers at $125 and $165 fill first. Walk-ins are welcome at both salons whenever the chair is free.

I don’t know which stylist to book.

Book the tier that fits your budget and let the consultation decide the rest. The difference between tiers is the stylist’s chair rate, not the standard of the cut — and any of them will tell you honestly what your hair will and will not do.
