Martial Vivot Debuts an All-Natural Grooming Line
The launch of the grooming line, covered by the magazine that had been sending its readers to him for years.
What Departures reported
Departures covered the launch of the Martial Vivot Grooming Line for Hair in November 2013. Sasha Levine opened by noting that for the past fourteen years Vivot had had a hand in shaping the hairstyles of America’s most influential gentlemen, and that with the new line his work now reached beyond the Salon Pour Hommes on West 54th Street.
The magazine described five all-natural products — shampoo, conditioner, gel, crème and paste — built on organic ingredients including aloe, flax seed and argan oil, together with vitamins and amino acids intended to encourage growth and slow graying. It also recorded the design brief: the matte black bottles were drawn from the shapes of flasks and cigarette packs.
